Privacy Policy
How QAAMCO handles the personal information you send through this website, who processes it, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Qimat Adaa Al-Mustaqbal Company for Trade, Contracting and General Services Ltd. (QAAMCO), a company registered in Iraq with its head office in Basra Governorate, handles personal information collected through qaamco.com.
It applies to this website only. It does not apply to other websites you may reach from a link here, nor to information you give us in person or under a signed contract, which is governed by that contract.
Information you provide
The website collects personal information only when you choose to send it. The contact form asks for the following:
- Name, so we know who the inquiry is from. Required.
- Email address, so we can reply to you. Required.
- Inquiry type, subject and message, describing what you need. Required.
- Company, telephone number and country. Optional, and used only to respond to you.
The form does not ask for financial details, identification documents or any sensitive category of personal data, and you should not enter them in the message field. If your requirement involves confidential documents, contact us first and we will agree a suitable channel.
Information collected automatically
The website is delivered through hosting and security infrastructure that records limited technical information:
- The IP address of the request, used by our hosting and security provider to deliver the page, to verify the anti-spam check and to detect abuse. It is not attached to your inquiry and is not forwarded to our internal channel.
- The two-letter country code of the network the request came from, which is attached to a submitted inquiry so our team knows where it originated.
- Standard server log entries, such as the date and time of a request, the page or file requested, the response status and the browser user agent.
- A reference number generated when an inquiry is submitted. It is shown to you and recorded with the message so the correspondence can be traced.
The website runs no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tags or social media trackers, and does not build profiles of visitors.
How we use your information
Information you send is used for these purposes only:
- Answering your inquiry, request for quotation or supplier offer.
- Preparing the quotations, technical proposals, tender documents and contracts you have asked for.
- Keeping ordinary business records of correspondence with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and partners.
- Meeting the legal, regulatory, accounting and tax obligations that apply to QAAMCO in the Republic of Iraq.
Your details are not sold, rented or exchanged, and they are not added to marketing lists or used for campaigns unrelated to your inquiry.
Who processes your information
QAAMCO uses a small number of established service providers to operate this website. Each processes information only as far as needed to provide its service:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, and the Turnstile security check that protects the contact form from automated submissions.
- Telegram Messenger — the private, access-restricted channel through which completed inquiries reach the QAAMCO team.
- Our email provider — used when we reply to you or continue a discussion by email.
These providers operate infrastructure outside Iraq, so information submitted through the website may be transmitted and processed abroad. Apart from them, QAAMCO discloses personal information only to its own personnel who need it to respond to you, to professional advisers bound by confidentiality, and where disclosure is required by law or by a competent authority.
How long we keep it
How long information is kept depends on why it was collected:
- General inquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer them and to keep a reasonable record of the exchange.
- Correspondence connected to a quotation, contract, purchase order or project is kept for the period required by the commercial, accounting and tax rules that apply to QAAMCO in Iraq.
- Server and security log entries are kept for the short standard period applied by the infrastructure provider.
You can ask us to delete correspondence that we are not required to keep. Write to [email protected].
Security
QAAMCO applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information sent through this website:
- Traffic between your browser and the website is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.
- The contact form is validated on the server, limited in size, and protected by a single-use security check, so automated submissions are rejected before any message is delivered.
- Inquiries are delivered to a private channel restricted to authorised QAAMCO personnel.
- Access to correspondence is limited to the people who need it in order to prepare a response.
As with any online service, no system can be described as absolutely secure, which is why the form is meant for inquiries rather than documents. If your requirement involves confidential commercial or technical material, ask us and we will arrange a suitable channel for it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information about you we hold, and why.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
- Delete correspondence that we are not required by law or by contract to keep.
- Stop using your details for any purpose other than meeting a legal obligation.
Send your request to [email protected], with the reference number of the inquiry if you have one, and we will respond within a reasonable period. Where the law of your own country gives you further data protection rights, we will consider a request made under it in good faith.
Children
This website is intended for business use. It is not directed at children, and QAAMCO does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of eighteen. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
Pages on this site may link to websites operated by clients, suppliers, authorities or other third parties. QAAMCO does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Read the privacy policy of any website before giving it personal information.
Changes to this policy
QAAMCO may update this policy to reflect changes in its services, its infrastructure or its legal obligations. The version published on this page is the one in force, and the date shown at the top of the page is when it last changed. Please review it from time to time; continuing to use the website after a change is published indicates that you accept the updated policy.
