01Using this website

You are welcome to use this website to learn about QAAMCO, to evaluate its capabilities, and to contact the company about a requirement — no account or registration is needed. So that the site stays available, accurate and safe for everyone who uses it, we ask you not to:

• Interfere with the operation, security or availability of the site, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to the systems behind it.
• Introduce malicious code, or use the site to transmit anything unlawful, misleading or harmful.
• Extract content by automated means at a rate that burdens the service, or reproduce substantial parts of the site for a competing purpose.
• Submit inquiries under a false identity, or on behalf of an organisation without its authority.
• Use anything published here for a purpose that is unlawful under the law of Iraq or of your own country.

02Intellectual property

The content of this website — text, page design, photographs, drawings, diagrams, and the QAAMCO name and logo — belongs to QAAMCO or is used with permission, and is protected by the intellectual property laws of Iraq and by international conventions.

• You may view the site, and download or print pages, for your own reference or to evaluate QAAMCO as a supplier or partner.
• Any other reproduction, republication, distribution, adaptation or commercial use requires written permission from QAAMCO.
• Names, trademarks and logos of other organisations that appear on the site remain the property of their owners and are used for identification only.

03How a commitment is made

Descriptions of services, capabilities, equipment, personnel and completed work are published so you can see what QAAMCO does and decide whether to talk to the company about your requirement. They are an invitation to discuss that requirement rather than a priced offer, so that neither side is held to figures set before the work is understood.

A commitment is made in a written quotation, purchase order or contract signed by an authorised representative of QAAMCO. Scope, prices, specifications, quantities, availability, delivery periods and payment terms are set out there for your specific requirement, and those documents are what governs the work.

04Inquiries sent through this site

Inquiries are read by the QAAMCO team in Basrah and answered as quickly as the requirement allows. A few practical points:

• Please make sure the information you give is accurate, and that you are entitled to send it on behalf of your organisation.
• An inquiry starts a conversation. It does not by itself create a contract or oblige either side to proceed.
• Please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive documents through the form — ask us first and we will agree a secure channel for them.
• The reference number issued on submission identifies your correspondence, so quote it when you follow up.

Personal information sent through the form is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

05Accuracy and availability

QAAMCO takes care that the information published here is correct when it is published, and updates it as the business develops. Even so, details can fall behind current practice, and any website can contain an error or an omission — so where something matters to your decision, ask us to confirm it in writing.

The site is made available as it stands. Access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside the control of QAAMCO; if you cannot reach a page you need, the team can be contacted by email or telephone at any time.

06Links to third-party websites

This site may link to websites operated by others, for convenience. Each of those sites stays under the control of whoever runs it, so QAAMCO cannot review or answer for its content, products, services or practices, and a link does not imply endorsement.

07Where responsibility sits

QAAMCO stands behind the commitments it makes in a quotation, purchase order or contract — including the warranties and after-sales obligations set out there — and behind information it confirms to you in writing. None of that is affected by these website terms.

• This website itself is made available as general information, and so far as the law allows it carries no separate warranty of its own.
• Where a decision is taken on general website material alone, without written confirmation from QAAMCO, the company is not in a position to answer for the outcome.
• So far as the law allows, that also covers indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit, business, contracts, goodwill or data arising from use of, or inability to use, this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Iraqi law, and nothing here affects the rights and obligations created by a signed contract between you and QAAMCO, which govern that relationship.

08Responsible use

If this website is misused — in breach of these terms or of the law — and that causes QAAMCO loss, damage, cost or expense, including a claim brought by someone else as a result, the person responsible is expected to make it good. This clause is aimed at misuse; it has no bearing on ordinary use of the site or on a normal commercial relationship with the company.

09Privacy and related documents

Personal information collected through this website is handled as set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. The Disclaimer explains the basis on which technical and project information is published. Both are linked at the foot of every page.

10Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from use of this website, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq.

The competent courts of Basra Governorate have jurisdiction over such disputes, unless a signed contract between you and QAAMCO provides otherwise for matters arising under that contract.

11Changes to these terms

QAAMCO may revise these terms at any time. The version published on this page is the one in force, and the date shown at the top of the page is when it last changed. Continuing to use the website after a revision is published indicates that you accept the revised terms.

12Language and severability

These terms are published in English and in Arabic. Where the two differ in meaning, the Arabic version prevails.

If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full effect. A failure by QAAMCO to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
